How to be ready in 5 minutes using only 5 things
Y’all, I literally have zero minutes lately.
I’m not sure how this happens when you’re pregnant, but getting ready to go ANYWHERE is a feat and I just cannot get this bump dressed.
But beyond that, I really don’t have time on a normal everyday, especially when I have somewhere to be, to get dolled up.
Today I’m giving you my top secrets to getting ready in less than 5 minutes, and using only 5 things, because who in God’s name has time to change an outfit or put on concealer.
TRICKS AND TIPS
A good mascara
As in, one that always goes on smooth, won’t leave clumps you later have to pick out with a safety pin and almost poke your eye out, and stays on all day without flaking.
Lip color
A good everyday lip color is an absolute must for me. Something that will stay on most of the day, because I WILL NOT have the though process to reapply, and one that looks good with any outfit, skin tone, or whether I’m all dolled up or down.
Overalls
Yes, because they ALWAYS work. And it really doesn’t matter what you wear under them. 100 degrees? A tank with a hold in the hem. 50 degrees? An oversized sweater. Pregnant? Unbutton the sides. Nursing? Great, let’s do it. Seriously. They always win.
Hat
And one that goes with everything. Think neutral and low profile. My “Everything’s Fine” hat is my everyday go to, since it always goes and is by far the most comfy hat I own.
Earrings
Go for a statement without the weight. Clay earrings are all the rage, and for good reason. They are lightweight, and you can go all out with statement pieces or keep them neutral. I am loving these hoops from our friend Allie and may be wearing them with literally everything. Yes, even my overalls.
