Are we seriously talking Holiday cards already?

Well, I am, because Lord have mercy, I never get them out on time.

EVER.

So I made a decision this year when Cece was born that I would absolutely do a real custom holiday card, and while I was at it, I was also going have a housewarming/Christmas party, and for that, well, we need a holiday party invitation.

I’ve learned over the last few year that even though I can, and would love to, design and print our own cards and invitations, it just isn’t on the priority list. Once in a while, I’ll muster up the audacity to make something myself, but most of the time, I don’t bother.

The quality of work out there by other extremely talented designers and wonderful companies is so overwhelmingly present, that it’s really unnecessary for me to put forth the effort!

Not long ago, I came across Basic Invite.

I had tried lots of others, some with luck and some without, for different paper goods for different occasions. But honestly, Basic Invite took the cake, and here’s why:

The best invention ever – Address Capturing Service. Basic Invite offers an address capturing service that allows customers to share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media to request their friends and family’s addresses. The addresses are stored in the customer’s account and can be selected during the design process. Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all card orders. Being that the last time I updated our address book was our wedding in 2014, this is NECESSARY for me. And no one likes sending out the random Facebook messages asking for addresses, and then having to store them somewhere. This is the perfect solution.

Second, Basic Invite gives me ENVELOPE COLOR OPTIONS! This is big, guys. I hate white envelopes. So blah. I love that I can mix and match my invites with an envelope to compliment..

Finally, I get instant previews of my order, and can make changes super easy. No need to wait for a sample to come in the mail – though they will do that too!

Right now, Basic Invite is offering Nicole and Co readers 15% off any order with code 15FF51.

Don’t be like me and wait too long to get Christmas greeting cards out – or baby announcements or housewarming invitations or ….

Also – be sure to follow them, because it’s oodles of prettiness.
